FAQ
RenoSystemPro
  • We help train the user on the project setup. It can take a couple of hours or longer for initial setup depending upon the number of tasks and options assigned, and how in-depth the user wants the system to manage the project. Once the project is set up, you invite all the participants to the system and it’s off and running.

Designate which individual(s) add units [rooms] to the system. With a couple clicks of the mouse, a unit [room or blocks of rooms] is [are] added. The software communicates with all designated parties what is happening and what is coming up in relation to their tasks.

  • Your subscription has two components, a per project annual fee and per unit[room] fee. To start, you pay an annual per project fee which varies based upon the number of projects active.  Each new project will include a number of free units. Once that number has been reached, there will be a one-time fee per unit[room] as they are added to the system and billed as a group each month. If you add 10 units[rooms] over the course of the month, your credit card will be billed on the first day of the following month for all 10 units[rooms].

  • The software can be purchased and used by anyone involved in the Unit [Room] Renovation business. It was created to manage these projects from all aspects.
    Subscribers can be:

    1. Building Owners
    2. Property Management Companies
    3. Contractors
    4. Subcontractors
    5. Suppliers
    6. Anyone else who is involved in this business and wants an efficient management system.
  • You only have access to the projects you are tied to. Let’s use a couple examples:

Example 1: You are a contractor doing a renovation project. In this example, you are the client (the one paying for the software subscription) using this software to manage your project. You and your designated individuals would have access to only this projects information. You would set the project up and have access to all the administrative functions for this project. You would not see any information about any other projects in the system.

Example 2: You are still a contractor but now you are also working on a renovation project for someone else as a subcontractor. Since you are just a user in this scenario, you would not have access to the administrative functions of this project, only the access given you by the project client. Your home screen would show you that you have access to 2 projects, the one you are the client for and this one as a subcontractor.

You may have multiple user roles within the software system but you can only see the projects that you are tied to, either as a client or as a project participant.

  • Yes. The system has numerous daily and project specific updates. The project administrator can turn certain updates on or off depending on what each user needs.

  • You can have as many projects going at one time as you can manage. It is not up to us to regulate the number.

  • No. While it is easier to view items on a desktop or laptop, you can also access your project from any mobile device. In time we will be adding applications designed specifically for iOS, Android, and Windows devices.

  • Yes. We will not sell your personal information to any 3rd parties. Your personal and credit card information is processed through the Elavon payment gateway. They secure and process payments for major airlines, banks, health care, and hospitality companies just to name a few. They are one of the major payment gateways in the world. Your personal and credit card information is protected through their Advanced Fraud Detection Suite and their system meets or exceeds Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliance.

  • You will have access to the project information through the duration of the project subscription period. Thereafter, you will have the option to obtain viewing rights for as long as you need.
